Privacy note

What we handle

• The file you upload. It is used for one purpose: producing your Sinhala subtitles.
• The captions we generate. They are held only until you download them or the session expires.
• Basic technical data — IP address, time, file size and file type — used to keep the service running and to stop abuse and fraud.
• Your activation key, to authorize processing and check credit. We store a cryptographic digest and a short display prefix, not the usable key. Customer/order labels, purchased credit, usage timestamps, duration, status and remaining credit are retained for billing reconciliation and support.

How long we keep it

• Your uploaded file is deleted from our server as soon as your captions are ready (and also when a job fails).
• Completed captions are temporarily stored so a server restart does not lose a charged result. The browser requests deletion once it receives your captions; otherwise results expire after 45 minutes, with periodic cleanup. Backup copies may remain under the backup-retention policy.
• Abuse-prevention counters and server logs are kept for a limited period for security and to enforce daily limits.

Third-party processing

Producing subtitles requires machine processing of your audio. We extract your audio and send it to third-party artificial-intelligence providers, then receive the resulting text back. Audio is sent for that purpose and is handled under their own retention rules. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your files to train anything ourselves.

Cookies and tracking

We do not set cookies for advertising or tracking, and we do not run third-party analytics on the tool itself. The administrator login uses an essential secure session cookie. Activation keys are not saved in browser storage by this tool. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when the page loads.

Your choices

• You do not need an account to use the tool.
• You can close the tab at any time, but a submitted job may continue and successful processing can still use credit. Closing a tab is not cancellation. Unclaimed captions expire as described above.
